It’s been a busy summer with projects all over Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, California and Washington, DC!
The DC shoot was for Under Armor and the US Marines. Each year they host a weekend for a select group of high schoolers who have exemplified leadership and outstanding character in their home towns. It’s not a recruitment weekend by any means, it is simply to show these kids the types of leadership examples often found in the Marines and let them experience Washington. We filmed at the National Archives, Quantico, The National Mall, and many other spots around town.
From an audio standpoint it was fairly straight forward. Quite a few board feeds, some talking heads, various action while the high schoolers went through training exercises, and general ambiance. Quick turn-around on the edits so accurate timecode sync and a perfect mix to camera were essential.
